Tips on buying a guitar this Christmas
Christmas is on it's way and it's that time to start thinking about buying. Children always at some point want to start playing an instrument, it is normal. At Umbrella Music we have a selection of Guitar Packs that will get a child of to the best possible start. We don't sell the cheapest equipment but we do sell the best value for money.
Umbrella Music also have fantastic choices for learning the classical guitar or acoustic. Even if a child wants to learn the elctric sometimes it can be good for them to start on the classical. Not only due to budget but also it is a great way of picking up the basics of the instrument and finding out if they actually like it. We would always recommend not going to a department store to purchase the instrument. Places like Argos do not have the musical know how or after sales ervice to help you post sale. They also need ot make a larger profit on the goods so we are usually alot cheaper. If they are stocking a cheap instrument it will be because it is cheap, chinese imported over for one use and one use olny; to be sold to a kid for Christmas and not used again.
